This was a sweet little love story with a bit of a fairytale feel. I have to say that I just really, really loved Noah, the omega in the story. He was bubbly, flirty, cute, and silly. When we meet him at the beginning of the story he seems to just be a flighty, pretty slutty, underachieving little prince. As the story goes on however (and especially as his relationship with Kytes deepens) we see the insecurities and familial pressures that have made him act. The pouting and giggling and flirting that was used to seduce at the beginning of the story becomes something very endearing when those things are reserved for Kytes. Kytes was a salt-of-the-earth sort who is fiercely protective and loving towards Noah. The question becomes how can they be together, a prince and a commoner? The story is a bit drawn out in the middle as the author takes her time showing us how the love between the pair grows and the round-and-round they go over their predicament. I will warn readers looking for a heavily erotic book that the first time they move beyond kissing takes places is a little over halfway the book. Afterwards, of course, we have a number of very satisfying bedroom scenes! For those who are looking for an mpreg I will let you know that, while this is an mpreg world and the couple talk about their hopes for children, there is no pregnancy or heat in the book. I would also strongly advise reading the first book before this one. While neither is a cliffhanger, the timeline and background of this one are all dependent on the first book. I did not like this book. This book is just full of contradiction by the author all the way through it. I could not enjoy this story
I loved Noah and Kytes. Their story was very precious to me. I was happy that Kytes didn't just fall at his feet. That he saw him for the real person not just a Prince. And he didn't bow down to the King. I voluntary reviewed this book for an unbiased review.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Now after saying that I can honestly say I loved this book, this novel is a little different as Noah is an alpha not of a pack but of a country, which puts a different light on things. Alex is becoming one of my favourite authors, knows how to make a great storyline, a sense of humour which is to me important in a book and romantic hot steamy interaction with two strong males this is a great read and a must to buy.
The latest by Alex Ashmore is beyond memorable so much in fact that the characters linger today. I think I love the characters more than the story. Noah is a clear example of judging a book by its cover, he is so much more than a title or his family. I wanted to spank him and cuddle him at the same time. Now Kytes I wanted to smother him with hugs, a lonely man with a tender heart brought tears to my eyes.
Noah and Kytes courtship was sweet and gentle, yes there is chemistry but it didn't rule them. This is a pretty good story that I'll read multiple times. The characters are well developed and the plot is on point, I could not put it down. I hope there's a follow-up story on the horizon. This one isn't a cliffhanger but its open and I want more!

This is the second book in the Norvargen Wolves series, the first book is The Prince’s Fate Mate. While you can read this book as a standalone, it is enriched by having read the first. The two main characters are Kytes and Prince Noah. Kytes is an alpha and Will’s best friend, the majority of the book covers what was going on in his life during the same time as Will meeting his fated mate. Kytes does not have a fated mate but he is strongly drawn to Prince Noah. Prince Noah is Prince James brother or rather as he is referred to frequently in the book Third Son. Noah is an omega but never had a relationship and no one has ever seen worth in him, he doesn’t either. But Kytes see him for who he truly is and their relationship is slow to grow. It was not jump straight into bed with each other and have sex, they actually got to know one another. The person who helped them the most with their relationship was Kytes, omega father Christian. He just rocks and the way he helps Kytes look to see the real Noah and not Prince Noah. Christian is also the family and support Noah needs and never received from his own family. I will say we did not learn much about the royal family in the first book, but in this book we did and I probably could have done without them. The alpha king, Alpha Miles is a jerk and Alpha Consort Isabel is an ice queen. My heart hurt for Noah and Kytes in all dealings with them. The contempt show to Kytes because he is a commoner is harsh, the hoops they jump through for final approval to marry in the end but still with disdain left a sour taste in my mouth. I would love it if in the next book they could thaw some and have some warmth or at least one of their kids have a true backbone and stand up to them. But the story of Kytes and Noah is beautiful and what they have to overcome makes their relationship stronger. I do wish we got to see their wedding, but maybe in the next book.

A very different werewolf story. This is one where the wolves can get sick (although it doesn't seem to apply to Alphas). The 2 main characters Kyle, a commoner and Noah a Prince (this is different where the alpha is like a king over a whole territory rather than a pack). It's a brother story to "The Princes Fated Mate". The same events happen but taken from a completely different perspective. An interesting way to approach story writing and I really enjoyed it. If you want to broaden your knowledge of Werewolfs this is a must read story. I am looking forward to reading more of Alex Ashmore's stories.
