Entrepreneur Revolution How to Develop Your Enterpreneurial Mindset and Start a Business That Works (Audible Audio Edition) Daniel Priestley Glen McCready Audible Studios Books

Normally, a book is worth purchasing for me if it has at least one good idea or concept in it. This book is packed with both principles for adjusting your mindset to the possibilities around you and more importantly, an entire practical guide on rules you should follow when determining what types of products you should be selling as well as offering a very current business model that I've seen work for many different people and is very relevant in today's digital economy. Daniel has given a ton of value at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants to start a business or who wants to step up their game in the digital world for an existing small or medium-sized business.

Entrepreneur Revolution How to Develop Your Enterpreneurial Mindset and Start a Business That Works (Audible Audio Edition) Daniel Priestley Glen McCready Audible Studios Books Reviews

I am a student at University of Baltimore taking the class Survey Entrepreneurship (300). For assignment we were asked to read and submit a review (in my case) about Daniel Priestley's 'Entrepreneur Revolution'. I'd like to start by noting that I have never come across a book which has such fluidity to it, making it a fun read.
I really enjoyed Priestley's 'challenges' however while saving money is obviously a good idea, I don't believe that carrying large sums of money on your person is good advice. I understand the idea he is promoting, lessening the emotional pulls which a 'want' creates but i can't in good conscious walk about Baltimore city with large sums of money!
The breakdown of our brain into three parts was also quite interesting. While the reptile part of us attempts to protect and ensure safety and survival the monkey side insists the we go out and experience the world (for better or worse). Finally the humanitarian in our brain helps up strive for greatness in an authentic and inspired manner.
What i found most useful in this book has to be the Ten challenges. While some of the challenges seem obvious or foolish, as i had mentioned before. If you are serious about being a successful entrepreneur i believe that taking these challenges to heart and attempting to genuinely fulfill them will advance you not only in business but in life as well.
I am a University of Baltimore student enrolled in the survey Entrepreneurship course and this book was my recommended reading. The gist of the book is explaining how we are at a dawn of a new age and entering the “Entrepreneurial revolution” and how technology has helped this transition. The book talks about how small businesses can make a difference and how there will be millions of global small businesses. My favorite part of this book was where its explained that you can basically make an income from anything you want and provides tips to become a great entrepreneur (being passionate, do what you are good at and doing something that makes money.) The author sometimes made silly comparisons to make his point and I didn’t like that (the Monkey brain). This book will be very useful to other entrepreneurship students and to anyone who is interested in becoming an entrepreneur because it provides realistic tips and advice that can be used when starting your own business. Some examples include steps/formula for creating something remarkable and the seven stage journey into the entrepreneur revolution. Last but not least I especially liked the author’s opinion about our brain and advice about how to consistently make things happen by looking at the brain and how it’s wired. I really enjoyed reading this book because it provides many inspirational ideas that could very much help in your journey to become a successful entrepreneur.
I am a University of Baltimore student enrolled in the survey Entrepreneurship course and that this book was a recommended reading from my professor.Priestly makes his point that we are leaving the industrial revolution but now entering the entrepreneur revolution. In order to be successful in this new business environment, one needs to needs to build one's own business. This requires us to have a bigger thinking as a enterprise builder rather than a worker.Priestly presents ten challenges that he claims will transform the readers from industrial worker to a successful entrepreneurs building the empire. Most of these ten tasks to complete are valid and helpful.I also agree with Priestly's assertion that to be successful every entrepreneur should have luck, reputation and vitality. I also agree with his seven stage journey into the entrepreneur revolution starting from "the three levels of work" to "making a difference enterprise." In the last chapter of the book, Priestly talks about recovering humanity and love being at the core of the entrepreneur revolution, with which I totally agree.
Although I find more than 90% of the book's content correct, I believe one can be a successful entrepreneur by generating some valid ideas and learning and upgrading these ideas while moving forward. I do not think one can be an empire builder by reading books and trying to follow the steps they instruct us to do. I simply do not believe the idea that all of the readers will or can do as it is said in the book by Priestly. I think to be successful, one should be lucky enough, and I believe luck is when preparations meet opportunity.
This book is very useful to other entrepreneurship students who are very fresh and have no entrepreneur ideas. In general, I think about half of the students who read this book will generate business ideas. This book might be more useful to the students from fields outside of business who are interested in entrepreneurship as a side venture.
